Library

320 static pages. Each one is a finished spell for one file and one stack, plus a link that opens the generator with that pair already selected.

Cursor rules

Cursor rules are a markdown file with a short frontmatter header. Cursor attaches them to the agent so it stops guessing how this repo builds, tests, and styles code.

AGENTS.md

AGENTS.md is a plain markdown file at the root of a repo. Coding agents from Cursor, Codex, Copilot, and others read it before they edit.

CLAUDE.md

CLAUDE.md is the project memory file Claude Code reads from the repository root. It is the right place for stack rules you do not want to repeat in every chat.

System prompt

A system prompt is the standing instruction you paste into an agent that does not read a repo file on its own. It should sound like a staff engineer briefing a new teammate.

Copilot instructions

GitHub Copilot reads `.github/copilot-instructions.md` and applies it across the repository. It is the place for build commands, review rules, and stack conventions Copilot should not invent.

Windsurf rules

Windsurf rules tell the Cascade agent how this repo is built and tested. The current location is `.windsurf/rules`. Older setups still read a root `.windsurfrules` file.

Cline rules

Cline and Roo Code read project rules before they edit. A root `.clinerules` file is the shared place for stack commands, safety limits, and how the agent should use tools.

GEMINI.md

GEMINI.md is the project context file the Gemini CLI reads from the repository root. It should say how this codebase is built, tested, and reviewed so Gemini does not guess.

Cursor testing rule

A Cursor `.mdc` rule can attach only when you touch tests. This variant keeps testing policy out of the always-on project rule so day-to-day edits stay quieter.

Cursor security rule

A focused Cursor `.mdc` rule for auth, secrets, and untrusted input. It attaches when those files change, instead of repeating security policy in every chat.
